DEBORAH SHEA, President
Deborah Shea has spent her business life bringing creative order out of chaos.

After studying art and design at UC Davis, Deb started her career as an in-house designer (and design-process manager) at a large Sacramento printer. In the following years she held positions as a designer, art director, and creative director for design studios and large software companies; executing such diverse tasks as creating new graphical standards, maintaining them across divergent cultures and language groups in Europe, India and Asia, while developing all outbound marketing materials for sales, web, trade, video and print production.

In addition Deb has also been an instructor of design classes at San Francisco City College and web design classes at UC Berkeley Extension.

Deb currently sits on the Board of Directors the for the Peninsula Symphony and the National Women Business Association Silicon Valley (NAWBO) as vice President and Marketing Director. She is an executive member of the Business Clubs of America, Silicon Valley chapter, an active member of the San Mateo Chamber of Commerce and San Jose Chamber of Commerce and The Western Art Directors and Artist Club.

 

SHANAN VALENTE, Art Director
Shanan Valente graduated from San Jose State University's nationally recognized Design School with two degrees: a BA in Graphic Design and a BFA in Photography. She has already had a one-person show in photography and had her work published in local periodicals. Before working at HELLBENT, Shanan has had experience in designing t-shirt's, uniforms, flyers, labels, brochures, posters, logos, banners, invitations and ads for nutritional companies, marketing firms, competitive cheerleading organizations, and high schools throughout the Bay Area.

 

TERRIE STECK, Office Manger
Every day Terrie comes to work is another day Hellbent Marketing avoids descending into chaos and barbarism. Her work as our office manager has smoothed our operations, clarified our finances, and made sure our customers get the service they need.

She gained her customer service and accounting skills in retailing, where both disciplines are crucial. Terrie was the buyer and CFO for a small import/export firm, where she was responsible for invoicing, shipping, and accounts payable/receivable. She also took on the job of overseeing Customer Service.

All of these skills have helped Hellbent's service offerings mature rapidly. If you need to get something done here, she's the one to call.

 

JOYCE VALENTE, Project Manager
Joyce has a wealth of experience from running her own business as well office manager positions for businesses as diverse as a laboratory and nutritional companies, security and hair salons. Joyce has a license in cosmetology as well as a paralegal certification, so we have all bases covered!

With her superior organizational skills, customer service and communication abilities, Joyce assists in special projects and project trafficking with other staff members and clients to make sure projects run smoothly and hit their deadlines everytime. Joyce is also in charge of development for our Hellbent Academy/Internship program; to keep us on the cutting edge and always enlarging our talent pool.

 

MIKE LIN, Web Designer/Programmer
Mike Lin is a student working toward B.A. in Graphic Design, from San Jose State University, one of the top ten design schools in the country. He is an ace website programmer and designer, in html and flash and provides many creative solutions for Hellbent. Mike has experience designing personal and commercial websites, Identiy logos and collateral for a variety of student organizations at San Jose State University, freelance work for Semantic and The Rotary Club, a non-profit organization.

In his freetime, he enjoys hanging out with friends, traveling, and cooking and surfing the web.

FLOYD, Mascot HR Specialist
Floyd joined Hellbent in 2003, after a brief stint at the Coyote Point Animal Shelter. His previous experience is unknown, but he has quickly learned many valuable skills and has been appointed official client greeter.

During his tenure at Hellbent, Floyd has been an integral part of employee happiness. Hellbent could not provide the excellent work we are known for without Floyd's enthusiastic presence and positive outlook on life. His motto: keep it real.
